Simple Steps to Start
Step 1 — Form & Consultation
Complete an information form. This allows us to understand the type of election, political entity, and scope of work involved. An initial consultation is then self-scheduled to discuss requirements, timelines, pricing, and next steps.

Step 2 — Service Determination & Engagement
If the client clearly requires Political Financing Filing or Political Financing Audit, CPAET confirms scope and pricing and provides a draft engagement agreement for review and signature.
If it is not yet clear whether an audit threshold will be met, CPAET provides access to free resources and templates to help clients maintain proper political financing records during the campaign. The appropriate service is confirmed after the election, once financial activity is known.

Step 3 — Onboarding & Preparation Package
After the engagement is confirmed, clients receive a structured onboarding package that includes:
- Key filing, audit, and campaign dates
- Clear documentation checklists
- Templates for financial records and tracking
- Practical guidance on preparing for financial returns and audits
- and more…
This package is designed to help clients stay organized and filing-audit-ready from the start.

Step 4 — Document Submission & Ongoing Communication
Clients securely upload required documents and records according to the agreed checklist.
Throughout this stage, CPAET maintains open and responsive communication, answering questions, clarifying requirements, and addressing issues as they arise.

Step 5 — Filing, Review & Completion
CPAET completes the political financing filing or audit well in advance of applicable deadlines, allowing sufficient time for client review and revisions.
Once finalized, CPAET issues the final deliverables along with an invoice and receipt, and remains available for post-completion support.
Expedited services may be available for an additional fee, subject to availability and scope.
