Effective Date: May 1, 2023

These Terms govern your use of services provided by Canaan Professional Accountancy (“we”, “our”), a Canada-based virtual accounting service provider.

By using our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Scope of Services

We offer:

• Preparation and filing of T1044, T2, T3010
• Financial reports and tax advisory
• Document organization and basic bookkeeping

2. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and timely information
• Ensure submitted documents reflect actual finances
• Review and approve filings
• Maintain backups of original records

We are not liable for errors caused by inaccurate or late data.

3. Delivery & Communication

All services are provided remotely using:

• Google Meet for consultations
• Google Drive for document sharing
  No phone or in-person support is provided.

4. Fees & Payment

• Fees quoted in CAD and confirmed in writing
• Invoices are due upon receipt
• Late payments may delay services or incur extra fees

5. Confidentiality & Data Protection

We treat all data as confidential and secure it per our Privacy Policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the fee paid for the specific service. We are not liable for indirect losses like government penalties due to client errors.

7. Amendments

We may update these Terms. Continued use of our services implies acceptance.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
